Duties and Responsibilities
To lead warehouse personnel in performing receiving, storage and material picking operation activities in a timely and effective manner to ensure task carried out in accordance to work procedure, safety standards, housekeeping and company policies.
Supervise the warehouse personnel to complete all the work within the scope of responsibility, and be responsible for the assessment of the warehouse personnel.
Coordinate the unloading of the trucks.
Manage and monitor warehouse personnel’s performance including attendance, working schedule and overtime.
Regularly conduct physical inventory count to ensure that the physical and system quantity are tally. Any discrepancy should be promptly investigated.
Review and adjust the storage location in a timely manner to improve the utilization rate of the warehouse space.
Coordinate the arrival of the materials, make storage planning in advance, improve the utilization rate of warehouses to ensure smooth flow of materials.
Provide training to warehouse keepers.
Responsible to resolve receiving and warehousing discrepancies (if any) in order to minimize inventory variance.
Responsible for supervising and auditing the inventory report to ensure inventory accuracy between physical and system quantity.
Verify and approval in the ERP system if any data entry error to ensure that all data in inventory system are precisely and in conformity with exact requirements.
Identify and recommend opportunities in continuous improvement program to improve the warehouse area and inventory variance issue.
Responsible to communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Identify and recommend suggestion for continuous improvement program to improve the warehouse area.
Track and assessment of warehouse staff KPI.
Keep the warehouse area safe, clean and organized through regular inspection.
Qualification Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma in any field.
Minimum three years of working experience with supervisory skills in warehouse. Working experience in smelting industry would be added advantage.
Knowledge in warehouse management system and inventory control.
Good coordination and organizational skill
Computer Literacy (Word, Excel & Power Point)
Fluent in Mandarin preferred as the role requested to deal with mandarin speaking foreign employees/vendor.
